Privacy

Footy Highlights has no accounts and doesn’t ask for personal details.

What the site keeps

One browser cookie remembers your time zone, so kick-off times are right. Another remembers the teams you follow, which stays in your browser. Your country is used to choose videos that can play where you are, and it isn’t stored.

Where the data comes from

Football data provided by the Football-Data.org API. Goals, cards, statistics and lineups come from Highlightly.

Visit counts

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to each page, without cookies and without following you to other sites, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Ads

Google shows ads on some pages, and may use cookies to choose them, as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Where the law requires it, you’re asked first.

YouTube

Highlights play in YouTube’s own player. The player only loads when you press play. Once it does, YouTube may collect data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Using it means you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Footy Highlights doesn’t download or host any video.
